SAUER&TROGER HELLFIRE X TABLE TENNIS RUBBER

Pimple Structure

The pimples are widely spaced and give the greatest possible distance for the pimples to bend, whilst the head of the pimples are slightly roughened. The pimples buckle upon contact with the ball, slow the ball down and load the spin.

Pimple Hardness

When applying slight pressure, the pimples heads have a rather hard feel. However, under higher pressure they give way and cause a smoother, softer playing feeling. This is especially important for imparting spin against fast attacking balls. When attacking, a short tap on the ball is enough to generate powerful attacking shots giving your opponent real trouble.

SAUER&TROGER SUPER STOP TABLE TENNIS RUBBER

SAUER&TROGER Super Stop Table Tennis Rubber

A slow low friction anti loop but easier to play than the new generation of ‘slick frictionless’ anti rubbers that have recently become available.

The low friction anti rubber surface is soft for an anti and combined with the medium soft sponge allows you to disrupt your opponent by playing conventional shots including attacking strokes with ease.

Nonetheless Super Stop will negate your opponents best loop shots and allow you to play short and dangerous blocks and chops.

SAUER&TROGER BLACK AND WHITE TABLE TENNIS BLADE

SAUER & TROGER Black and White Table Tennis Blade

A lightweight, twin speed blade designed for players who vary the pace of the game or for combination players who play anti or pimples on the backhand.

The Black and White blade gels with the new 40+ plastic ball and with the forehand side having a speed rating of ALL+/OFF- and the backhand side ALL it is ideal for combination play where the user plays an attacking speed and spin game on the forehand.

Constructed from a mix of balsa, koto, limba and black cfabric you will discover that the backhand side is loaded with feel and for anti and pimple players will assist you in keeping the ball short and creating awkward disruptive returns.

SAUER&TROGER KASALLA TABLE TENNIS BLADE

SAUER & TROGER Kasalla Table Tennis Blade

The newest blade-development from Sauer & Troger, Kasalla, offers outstanding power for offensive styles.

Despite the high speed, the blade has good control and offers massive spin and disruptive effect.

Even short strokes can generate high speed which is now even more important with the new plastic ball.

In passive situations the balsa-core minimizes the speed of your opponent’s shots.

Kasalla, our recommendation for the aggressive player.

PLEASE NOTE: The forehand-side of the blade is the one with the Sauer & Troger logo.

SAUER&TROGER HIPSTER TABLE TENNIS RUBBER

SAUER&TROGER Hipster Table Tennis Rubber

Hipster is a new mid length easy to play pimple.

The soft feel allows you to play disrupting shots with long pimple effect when playing passively but to also counter hit and topspin when attacking.

SAUER&TROGER ZARGUS TABLE TENNIS RUBBER

SAUER&TROGER Zargus Table Tennis Rubber

A wide short pimple designed for best control and consistency.

Easy to use and place the ball precisely playing defense or attack.

SAUER&TROGER HASS TABLE TENNIS RUBBER

SAUER & TROGER Hass Table Tennis Rubber

Why is your opponent so despondent?

That angry look can only be because of another unplayable shot with Hass, an extremely powerful short pimple with inbuilt speed glue effect.

Even with short stroke action you can generate great power – dominate the game with powerful blocks and drives but with the added benefit easy blocking and spin negation that you associate with a short pimple rubber.

SAUER&TROGER SCHMERZ TABLE TENNIS RUBBER

SAUER&TROGER Schmerz Table Tennis Rubber

That hurts!

Your opponent struggles with another shot from the new Schmerz.

A long pimple that gives good disruptional effect combined with easy to play attacking options.

The sponge version makes attacking shots easier to perform.

SAUER&TROGER EASY P TABLE TENNIS RUBBER

SAUER&TROGER Easy P Table Tennis Rubber promo video!

S & T’s latest “easy to use long pimple” is the Easy P available in 0.5 and OX variations.

This rubber is perfect for players who want to play close to the table with a real focus on control and effectiveness.

S&T’s special production process creates a very slow pimple, allowing easy chop blocking against topspin and aggressive pushing against chop!

SAUER&TROGER SECRET FLOW CHOP TABLE TENNIS RUBBER

SAUER&TROGER Secret Flow Chop Table Tennis Rubber

Secret Flow enables you to play a sizzling spin game with pinpoint accuracy.

A new type of top sheet has been combined with a unique sponge to allow your game to really ‘flow’.

The special high performance synthetic rubber top sheet enables high spin values, yet maintains superb control.

Play pushes and defensive strokes with a low trajectory whilst maintaining good speed.

The ‘Secret Flow’ sponge is soft+ tuned, allowing higher speed attacking shots whilst maintaining control, which is often lost with a tuned harder sponge.

The 1.5mm sponge suits the classic defender whilst the MAX version is ideal for the modern defender who takes every opportunity to attack with precision.

SAUER&TROGER ZEUS TABLE TENNIS BLADE

SAUER&TROGER Zeus Table Tennis Blade

It was S & T’s goal to create a high class table tennis blade for modern defensive players, no matter what the cost in terms of development and material – the result is Zeus.

Made from Japanese high quality royal paulownia wood, two veneers of UD carbon and external veneers of kiso hinoki. Initially discouraged from launching the blade because of the high production costs, S & T were persuaded to go ahead by the testers because of the excellent playing abilities.

The carbon gives an enhanced sweet spot and uniform playing characteristics across the surface of the blade. The backhand is slightly slower than the forehand and is designed for the allrounder playing close to the table as well as the defender. Designed to compliment Hellfire long pimples but also suits conventional defensive rubbers on the backhand side.

The table tennis blade blade combines perfectly with Hellfire.

SAUER&TROGER FIRESTARTER TABLE TENNIS BLADE

SAUER&TROGER Firestarter Table Tennis Blade

A high control blade which guarantees a spin rich and accurate shot game.

Firestarter is perfect for players who struggle defending topspin balls, and as a result of the low speed it is also a great tool for long pimple players.

The special gluing technique means the backhand side offers slightly more control than the forehand.

S & T recommend Firestarter particularly for blocking and controlling shots with orthodox long pimples at the table, or for classic defending away from the table.

Slightly oversized, measuring 16cm x 15.8cm (Height x Width)

PLEASE NOTE: The forehand-side of the blade is the one with the Sauer & Troger logo.

SAUER&TROGER HELLFIRE TABLE TENNIS RUBBER

SAUER&TROGER Hellfire Table Tennis Rubber in action!

Since the ban of frictionless long pimples, the effect of slow pimples has been negated.

Produced by long pimple experts Sauer & Troger, Hellfire is slow and very dangerous and makes life absolute HELL for your opponents.

The low speed means that heavy topspins can be returned with ease but more importantly with real effect and disturbance.

Return serves with ease and in testing we were impressed at the spin reversal that could be achieved against heavy loop and topspin. Now you can be the one who controls spin and consequently controls the game.

The versions with sponge are for classic defenders who play away from the table, the orthodox version is perfect for close to the table blocking / block chopping and controlling awkward play.

Hellfire – at last, the revenge of the long pimple player –TRY IT!

*IMPORTANT* on 0.9mm, MUST use VOC Free glue/glue sheet

Hellfire X has been produced offering slightly more speed but even greater disruption possibilities. The OX version is ideal for a close to the table game and will allow you to dominate and upset your opponent. When defending away from the table your shots will be spin loaded and your chops will create havoc with your opponents.

Why use S&T HELLFIRE X Long Pimples??

HELLFIRE X has a lot to live up to! What makes HELLFIRE X Barry’s Staff Pick…?

Barry Chapman, Managing Director:

Having used the original Hellfire long pimples for the last 5 seasons I was intrigued to see how the long awaited X version from Sauer & Troger performed.

I tested it on a VICTAS Matsushita original blade and the results were interesting! Hellfire X came into its own when I was playing at the table and punching and pushing aggressively. The result was a pretty dangerous ball that wobbled and kicked – in match play I can see this pushing an opponent on to the back foot and possible mistakes.

Both aggressive pushing and lifting a chopped ball was easy with the Hellfire X rubber. Block chopping again was comfortable, however, with a high ball higher trajectory it certainly felt like this would be less awkward for your opponent then the original Hellfire as the spin reversal/wobble wasn’t as much and the ‘stop’ less marked.

Meanwhile, classic chopping felt easy and consistent and whilst it did not feel as though a lot was on the ball it was surprising how much spin was produced and could be quite deceiving!

In summary, it’s definitely an interesting option which will help combination bat players reduce the risk of being pinned down on the pimples and certainly a must for players who want to stay at the table and play a dominating long pimple game.

barryBarry established Bribar Table Tennis 35 years ago, overseeing it’s growth into a major player in the UK Table Tennis market. Now approaching his 51th League season and 49th as a Local League Premier player, Barry is still a regular competitor in various Leagues in Kent and has played ‘County’ from Junior to Veteran level.

The pink coloured 50° sponge with integrated Tensor technology offers enormous dynamics when chopping at mid and long distance, but is, however, controllable with disturbing strokes close to the table due to the sponge hardness and flat trajectory.

The grippy micro structure of the pimple heads and the flexibility of the narrow pimples also allow an extreme chop – rich defence with maximum control.

Why use S&T HELLFIRE Long Pimples??

There a huge number of pimple variants available but what makes HELLFIRE Barry’s Staff Pick…

Barry Chapman, Managing Director: Following the numerous rule alterations relating to long pimples in recent years the effect of most rubbers become massively diluted. Discovering the HELLFIRE Long Pimple was like a return to the past. Good control and disruption effect when playing against loop and topspin, plus the ability to roll the ball. Sauer & Troger are a small company run by two pimple specialists in Germany who certainly know what long pimple users are looking for!

Staff Picks

TIBHAR ROBO PRO JUNIOR TABLE TENNIS ROBOT

We have sold many of these versatile little robots to clubs, coaches and players in the UK –  but what sets this robot apart from the rest and makes it Ron’s Staff Pick?

Popular in the club setting – it’s easy to set up – it allows less experienced players to improve their stroke techniques and consistency. Coaches tell us that the ability to adjust the topspin and chop settings to suit players abilities is a key feature, plus the fact that it is easy to transport and set up in multiple venues for coaches on the move.
