Description
JOOLA Rhyzer 48 Table Tennis Rubber
JOOLA presents the completely new technically Professional level series of Rhyzer rubbers. Designed to compensate for the reduced spin and speed of the new plastic ball, the range incorporates two innovative approaches, the improvement of sponge technology and the advancement of pimple geometry.
The rubber surface is extremely thin, grippy and under high tension. In combination with the narrow, relatively short pimples beneath the rubber surface, maximum catapult effect is produced and the flexible pimples provide an extended dwell time of the ball, resulting in sensitive strokes and excellent spin features.
As a result of the very thin surface a thicker Powermax sponge has been adopted in the max version resulting in even greater dynamics.

Ok so took a couple of sessions for this rubber to calm down ! Using it for first couple of sessions felt more like taming a beast ….. but now this rubber is a gem , looping from mid distance is a dream and yet has great touch close to table . I have this on both sides of my Mikado off + all wood . Because of the better flex you get with all wood actually means better spin than carbon blades , the dwell time is greater and if your a heavy spin kind of player like me then this rubber is fantastic . I am going to try Rhyzer 43 for backhand just to give me that fraction more spin for flicks and loops . Great rubber once you give it a chance

Very fast, spinny rubber. Was too quick for me when paired with my carbon blade but was much more to my liking when on a wooden blade with a lower throw. Control was better than expected. Good on the forehand but probably need to try the 43 on the backhand.

I use the Rhyzer 48 on my forehand having tried just about everything over the years. I found it to have more spin than Rhyzm , though not as much as my backhand rubber hurricane. Plenty of power but still able to control it, enough spin to loop against defence or attack, good spin on serves. After 10yrs of trying finally won a Vetts Singles title with it, so has got to be good!
