I have always played with a quick blade but the Tibhar Stratus is the best one I’ve found. It gives me the pace from the carbon but also enough control up close to the table to block and counter attack. The weight has a nice balance in your hand and not too ‘top heavy’ as I have found some carbon blades to be.

I’m really impressed with this blade, it’s the only Tibhar blade I have tried and I won’t be looking to change anytime soon! It offers sublime touch and feeling whilst at the same time a good balance of speed and power. For me control is one of the most important factors I look for in a blade and this is perfect for me, it’s ideal for being able to absorb the speed and spin that comes at you when blocking and is also great when spinning offensively. Having never liked Carbon blades the stratus Carbon is different as I love the speed and pace it generates but still do not feel I am losing the control and touch which is critical for my game, plus it feels like it has a large sweet spot improving my blocking and counter hitting part of my game. Looking for speed and control then this could be the blade for you, but don’t believe me try it yourself as you will not be disappointed.
