Produced by long pimple experts Sauer & Troger, Hellfire is slow and very dangerous and makes life absolute HELL for your opponents.
The low speed means that heavy topspins can be returned with ease but more importantly with real effect and disturbance.
Return serves with ease and in testing we were impressed at the spin reversal that could be achieved against heavy loop and topspin. Now you can be the one who controls spin and consequently controls the game.
The versions with sponge are for classic defenders who play away from the table, the orthodox version is perfect for close to the table blocking / block chopping and controlling awkward play.

I play close to the table and use Hellfire OX in RED on my backhand to help me return spin serves, control my shots and mess with the opponent’s timing. This rubber in RED and OX is very slow and it is relatively easy to keep the ball short and low over the net. You can sideswipe spin serves to a) return it safely and b) give your opponent his spin back (though you reserve the right for that spin to have been converted into a different type!) It is possible to play shots with either a downward or upward stroke. Returning topspin with an upward stroke can be effective as it looks like you are adding to the top spin but actually you tend to produce a no spin or even underspin ball.
I have tried at least 20 long pips and this is easily the best in terms of control it provides and ability to confuse and attack.
This rubber is best in RED in my opinion – more spin reversal than the black version.
I use Joola Chen Defender blade and S&T Secret Flow on my forehand.

Great Long pimple, great for chopping against heavy topspin. Also good for hitting a chopped return. One of the best pimples on the market and I have tried most of them. Very good for returning spin serves.

Unlike a lot long pimples you can attack with this rubber , very good control and spin reversal
